Reportgroups

To make MT reporting more clear, we can divide the Reports into groups.

Create Reportgroup

Navigate to Menu > Information > Reports > Maintain, select the ReportGroups tab and click Add new

Reportgroup

Select the Process this group will be used for and again specify a short clear name.

Reportgroup

In our example, we have created 2 groups, one for process information and the other for error reports. All other reports are shown as other in the Mtinfo. Reportgroup

Now navigate again to Menu > Information > Reports > Maintain, select the Reports tab and edit a report. We are going to link it to one of the groups. Reportgroup

We link the second report to the Report group Error information We did not link a third report to a Report group.

This will result in:

Reportgroup

  • (1): To which process does the Report belong?
  • (2): What is the name of the Report.
  • (3): To which Report group is the Report attached.
  • (4): Is this Report shown in the Mtinfo.
  • (5): Filter on ReportName.
  • (6): Filter on ReportGroupName.
