Operator Steps
To put a process in the Spider, the components below are important.
Tool
If no Tool has been created yet, this step must be done first. The process is linked to a Tool. The process can be linked to an existing or new Tool.
More information: Tools
Process
The process is the central component within the Spider. Consider the components that are important to the process:
- Process title
- Process description
- SLA and Business Rules
- Who gets the Mtinfo
For more information on processes and how to create them, you can find more information here:
Process Steps
At least one process Step must be present for a process. Without a process Step, no processing takes place. Consider the following issues that are important for the process Steps.
- On which days and times may this process Step be picked up?
- Are there days when the Process Step may not run (Exception calendar)?
- May a request be scrapped?

Process Build
After filling the Process and Process Step information, the process needs to be built. Link the required process Steps to the process.

Reports
From which information should a report be made within Spider. And should this report also be made known in MtInfo?
More information: Reports
Signals
Signals are escalation signals which are important for an Operator. Also for developers to catch any errors or notifications in a request. This is a collaborative effort between Operators and Developers to set up the Signals per process.

General Signals
Signals that are important for Operators to determine if a process is still working as planned. Developers have the ability to address these in their botrunner scripts.

Workstation - link process
The final step is to link a Process to one or more Workstations. This/these workstation(s) may then pick up the process if requests come in.

Workstation - link process Step
Or a process Step can be linked to a workstation.

Completion
The final step is to go over the process with the developer. After all, creating botrunners requires all these components for the developer
Summary
A process within Spider is a collaboration within a team. The Operator and Developer need each other to set up a process and fill Signals, Reports and Translation Tables (Logistics).
