Email instellingen
Within Spider, two types of email settings can be used. The SMTP function or the GraphAPI function.
The email setting is used for sending:
- Management information (MtInfo).
- Emails to users if specified in the SLA.
- Emails to operators/departments if requests go wrong.
- Emails to current users to recover their passwords.
- Emails to new users. Once a new user is created, they receive an email containing a link to set their password.
To use this functionality, Email settings are a requirement within Spider.
Select Email provider
Login as an admin user in Spider and navigate to Menu > Settings > Email.
Select the SMTP or GraphAPI function.
Configure SMTP provider
Log in as an admin user in the Spider and from the menu go to Menu > Settings > Email There you will see the screen below. The components are explained here

| [6] Email Encryption | Select the desired encryption that is on the SMTP account. |
| [7] Save & Test | Save your settings and test the connection. |
Configure GraphAPI provider
Enable the option for GraphAPI. Nidaros has a document available on how to set up a Graph link. Please feel free to contact Nidaros.

Save the data and test the connection. Only validates that the data is correct. No mail is sent.
Tip
By default, the client secret is valid for 6 months. Include in the update procedure that the client Secret should be updated in the Spider if it is to be renewed in Office365.
Emailtemplates
Users receive emails from Spider in certain cases. These are structured according to a template.
