Spider

The Spider (Intelligent Workload Manager) contains a set of built-in functionalities and activities to communicate through API calls. These API driven activities contain the capabilities to map the complete track and trace of a process processing.

Spider

The Spider (IWM) is RPA tooling independent and can be linked to all recent RPA tools. Communication takes place via API calls.

Some examples of where you can use Spider:

  • Perform system uptime checks
  • Process incoming and outgoing employees within your organization.
  • Control, manage and process work stocks.
  • Heartbeat check of the RPA agents (are the robots still present).
  • Process large work stocks within your organization.

The spider (IWM) can also be used as a diagnostic tool. The Spider provides a complete track and trace of requests and process processing. Processes can also be broken down into smaller steps (ProcessSteps). Some of the possibilities:

  • Track and trace of requests.
  • Which process steps have been dealt with in a request
  • Audit logs are created and can be viewed
  • User and rights management
  • Reporting, signaling and alerts within a process.
  • Management information per process where the interval can be adjusted.

The Spider helps to control a landscape in which multiple robots perform automated processes. The Spider ensures that tasks to be executed are prepared in a structured way, to be picked up by a robot from the landscape. Because we want to know the status of a process at all times, the status of a request is logged centrally in the Spider.
